Okay, so I'm not much of an online gaming fan but I do know that ABS-CBN has their own online gaming firm, I mean, why else would that Cassandra girl from Pinoy Big Brother be the model in Tantra. Well, news has it that GMA New Media has partnered with IP E-Game Ventures Inc. (IPE)to put up an P800 million casual online gaming firm.
The new firm will be called I-Play Inc and will be operational during the first quarter of next year. IPE is known to be the exclusive distributor of RAN Online, casual games O2Jam and Audition, Supreme Destiny and Granado Espada, GMA New Media, is a subsidiary of GMA Network Inc.
Hmm, well, let's wait and see how this partnership pans out.
