Overview: Sony DPP-FP95

The Sony DPP-FP95 is one of Sony's newest digital photo printer that features Sony's dye sublimation technology, which according to Sony, is free of grains that is present in inkjet printers.

The Sony DPP-FP95 has a LCD screen and combined with the its built in auto correction function, it will allow you to edit your photos straight from the printer. The auto correction on the Sony DPP-FP95 allows you to automatically detect and remove red-eye, and touch up your photos using the Skin Smoothing, Focus and Exposure Correction. This compact photo printer also allows you to create ID photos easily or print multiple images per sheet. The Sony DPP-FP95 will also allow you to add filters, stamps, frames on your photos so you can make your scrapbooks even more fun. Print speed, according to Sony, is around 45 seconds.

Optional Features

You can purchase a DPPA BT1 Bluetooth adapter for the Sony DPP-FP95 so you can easily transfer your photos from your Bluetooth capable handset straight to the printer.

Though the Sony DPP-FP95 features advance technology not commonly found on common compact photo printers, I don't really see a need for having a separate photo printer apart from your inkjet printer specially when most inkjet printers nowadays can produce high quality images, however, I guess the Sony DPP-FP95 will have a place for avid photographers or families who just love printer pictures of their kids and posting it around their homes.
