Sony KLV-46W400 Quick Review

The Sony KLV-46W400A is Sony's new 46 incher from its Bravia W-series. The previous versions of the Sony Bravia W-Series lacks any aesthetic value but the new Sony KLV-46W400A more than makes up for for its predecessor's design flaw. It's thin frame and blue finish is a very good design improvement, making it comparable to the design of the Sony Bravia X-Series.

The Sony KLV-46W400A sports a whopping 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a Bravia Engine 2 video processing engine, and a Live Color Creation technology. These new features on the Sony KLV-46W400A will ensure that you enjoy the highest quality images on your LCD TV, nothing but the best for Sony fanboy and girls.

What could be a downer for an otherwise good LCD TV is that like everything Sony, the Sony KLV-46W400A has its own proprietary port. Instead of opting for a USB connection, Sony imparted upon us its Digital Media Port (DMP). You need DMP bases to connect your other Sony gadgets such as their Walkman MP3 players, Sony Ericsson phones, etc.

Aside from that, the Sony KLV-46W400A will no doubt be one of the better 46 incher LCD TVs in the market, expect to pay a premium price for it, though as can be expected when you buy anything with a Sony brand.
