HTC Shift

Honestly, I don't get it why ASUS was able to make less than PHP20,000 Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC) and yet manufacturers are still churning out UMPCs worth more than PHP100,000. Take the HTC Shift. It has already arrived in the US and costs around $1,499!! So with the customs and shipping, I bet that it would retail around PHP100,000 here in the Philippines.

So, what does the HTC Shift have that the Asus EEE PC doesnt? Just Windows Vista and windows mobile plus a touch screen. Both have 800 MHz processor though the Shift runs on Intel A100 and the EEE runs on Intel Celeron. But is it really worth spending that much? I don't think so.

Well, for those born with a silver spoon, you might want to buy the HTC Shift however, I don't think it's available here yet. For more information, check out this HTC Shift Review.
