Medical Bracelets

One of the things that I'd like to see in the Philippines is a medical jewelry Store. Sure, there are lots of jewelry stores there but they're all dedicated to teeners. Medical Jewelry is actually a medical ID but instead of wearing a plastic tag like the ones you see in a patient's arm in hospitals, it's more fashionable. Your medical ID will identify your medical condition like allergies or any disease so in case of emergency, you'll immediately get the right treatment.

My friend once told me of how her father was hospitalized and he has diabetes and the doctors were going to administer something that would have adverse effects on people with diabetes. It was a good thing that a relative was there so the doctor could ask about any conditions but if there wasn't--well, that's where medical IDs would be useful.

A medical ID is just like an ordinary jewelry but since people would have no way of knowing that your conditions would be engraved on your ordinary jewelry, medical IDs have symbols that identify them as medical IDs so that hospital personnel could immediately check it.
