International School Goes Mac

While regular schools teach students to use computers using the Microsoft Windows environment, the Everest Academy in Bonifacio Global City will begin familiarizing Grades 1 and 2 with the Macintosh environment.

Apple's Macintosh is the main competitor of Microsoft Windows. While Macs are popular in the US, there are only a few owners of computers running Macintosh in the Philippines. It may be due to the fact that Mac computers would set you back around 80-100++ grand as compared with regular PCs running Windows, the cheapest of which is around 25k.

On a side note, a recent Street Video say that Mac owners are "snobs". Hmm, is it because they pay more? Anyways, check out the links.
