Should You Learn Mandarin?

Let’s face it, whether you like it or not, China is a global power. They may provide the cheapest labor and several Chinese regions may still be considered amongst the poorest in the world but China is making its presence felt in the business world. Almost all of the world’s products are made in China. From consumer electronics to apparels, the materials or labor put into those products came from China.

That is why most business men should have Chinese language training since one way or another; they would have to deal with Chinese businessmen. The college where I graduated from had enough sense to include basic Mandarin as a foreign language subject included in every Business course. I guess the school realized that most businesses in the Philippines as well as any part of the World are owned by Chinese or would have to transact with Chinese businessmen.

Busy businessmen could learn foreign language training through online courses. Tutors can also be hired who is located near their area and whose schedule is flexible enough to accommodate theirs.

Executive Language Training ( is one of the many online companies providing foreign language courses, and Chinese is one of the language courses they offer. Their foreign language course schedule can be adapted to the companies’ or businessman’s requirements and can be provided anyplace be it at home, office or their own Training facilities, in the US and around the world.
