ZTE C78 and C79 released in the US

I don't know whether it's the ongoing investigation regarding the National Broadband Network but since ZTE is involved, I thought ZTE was just this small fry company in China. So I was surprised when I've seen some ZTE equipment being used by Bayantel and was even more surprised when I found out that ZTE actually sells mobile phones in the US.

The new handsets introduced by ZTE are the ZTE C78 and C79. These handsets runs on the new PCS cellular band in the US, meaning it's not GSM and will not work in our networks. The ZTE C79 is the higher end of both mobile phones and features a 1.3 mega pixel camera, stereo bluetooth, MP3 player, and microSD slot. The ZTE C78 is a candy bar phone and features a VGA camera and Bluetooth.

Hmm, judging from the ZTE wireless phone that Bayantel provided us, ZTE may not be a small fry company but quality-wise, their products look similar to almost all things china-made.
