QWERTY keypad vs. Phone pad vs. touch screen input, which is the best?

Okay, so I'v recently bought my first phone with QWERTY keypad. No, it's not a blackberry, not the Nokia E-something or the Moto Q, it's not even the HTC Cavalier. It's non other than the Samsung i780.

Since I'm a phone fanatic, I've been through my share of mobile phones. For the past three years, I was contented with my touch screen HTC products--until I've become addicted to blogging and found it hard to type my blog posts on a touch screen phone. I tried doing my posts on a regular mobile phone but found that it took me a lot more time to type my posts so I thought of changing to a mobile phone with a QWERTY keypad.

Anyways, from experience, if you're going to do a lot of email and typing on your mobile phone, the best input option is a QWERTY pad. It's my first time using a QWERTY pad and I was surprised at how easy it is to use. I thought it would be hard to adjust to a QWERTY pad but it's really easy. But I guess it depends on what kind of phone you are using. There are some phones that have QWERTY pads which are not really user friendly.

Phone pads are best for regular text messaging while touch screens--well, they're just really good for showing off. :D Actually, the handwriting recognition function on most windows mobile device are excellent. I just find it hard to write text messages using the hand writing function when you're trying to hide your mobile phone inside a public utility vehicle.
