How to save on your Travels

Even though world oil prices are still surging, it doesn't stop frequent travelers from enjoying vacations. Here are a few tips on how you can combat surging airfare travels by saving on other things.

  • Have a Frequent Flier Card. Before, I thought frequent flier miles were just gimmicks but it amazes me how I could actually save a lot from using my frequent flier miles. If you have saved enough miles, you can actually have a free airfare or get an upgrade.
  • Join Clubs. There are several travel clubs or vacation clubs that offers exclusive discounts and benefits to its members. Club par excellance for example, a marketing company that has a vacation club offers its members all-inclusive vacation packages. Club par excellance also has a lot of property on their inventory which members can have access to.
  • Book Early. If you don't have a frequent flier card or not a member of any clubs, be sure to book in advance. Airlines offer BIG discounts when you book in advance. Never go on a vacation on a whim because last minute airline tickets are just WAY too expensive.
  • Check for coupons. Online booking sites or travel sites also offer coupon codes so be sure to Google very hard for it. You can get a pretty good deal if you search hard enough.

If you are able to apply two or three of these tips then you can truly save a LOT. Maybe enough to book yourself nice hotel room.
