The Dark Knight Movie Review

I've just watched The Dark Knight last night and I have to agree with other reviews going around, Heath Ledger owned that movie. It shouldn't be titled The Dark Knight but should be "Joker". There are only a few actors who can draw you to their character, and Heath Ledger's Joker definitely elicited some emotions from the viewers. Compared to Jack Nicholson's Joker, Heath's was darker and yes--more crazy. There were few jokes and more crazy behavior from this Joker.

Overall, the Dark Knight is a dark movie. Not something you want to bring your 6 year old to unless you want them to be scarred for life. In this movie, Batman is still not refined in his superhero ways. His gadgets are not so high tech and he bleeds a lot but that's okay because it reminds you that unlike other superheroes, Batman doesn't rely on his superpowers but on his brains and brawn. That is why when guys ask the question, who is more brainy, Batman or Superman, I always go for Batman since Batman can make a superhero out of anyone, that is, if you have the trust fund of Bruce Wayne.

I originally thought that reviewers from the Internet were just being generous when they're giving praise to Ledger out of respect since the guy can no longer react to any comments but no, the praises were given were it was due.

christopher nolan was good to show more human characters. Not only for Batman and Joker but also for Harvey Dent, Gordon and Fox.
