The iPhone 3G

I was able to get my hands on the iPhone 3G since my sister who's based in London recently bought one and decided to bring it here. She's on roaming and is on the Smart network but that doesn't mean that I could easily swap my Smart simcard on it because sadly, that won't work.

So what's new about this iPhone 3G? Nothing much really. I have to admit, it's SO pretty to look at and hold but again, not for typing your blogs on or your email messages since I was always able to press the wrong key.

Do I want to buy one? Again, maybe some months ago I would have but my needs have changed. I need a physical keyboard and typing on an all touchscreen phone is really not my thing. I'm still waiting for the Sony Xperia X1 or the HTC Touch Pro.

If you're the owner of the original iPhone, unless having 3G and GPS is a must to you, I won't recommend spending on this one. However, if you're a die hard Apple Fan boy who needs to have everything that Steve Jobs throws at consumers, then nothing would probably convince you otherwise.
