Fat Burners vs. Diet Pills

Someone asked me what was the difference between fat burners and diet pills. Well, diet pill is the general term for drugs used to lose weight and this could include, fat burners, appetite suppressants, fat blockers, etc. And so the question went on: Well, which is more effective? The answer would of course depend on your needs.

Fat burners are usually recommended for those considered obese or is 10-20 pounds overweight and have a lot of fatty deposits in their body. Appetite suppressants and fat blockers are recommended for those slightly overweight or who just wants to maintain their current body weight. Be warned though that there are a lot of fat burners in the market that has side effects. There are natural fat burners are those ingredients or herbs naturally occurring in nature that can burn fats. One example of a natural fat burner is grape fruit juice which according to some nutritionist, acts as a catalyst to increase your metabolism. Hence, there are many "grape fruit" diets circulating the net.

My sister, for one, bought a popular fat burner called hydroxycut but she was rushed to the hospital after taking her second pill due to palpitations. Palpitations are the usual side effect of fat burners so again, do your homework before buying and be sure that you're not prone to these side effects, and always consult a doctor before buying any of these diet pills.
