Samsung Corby: Samsung's newest cheap touchscreen phone

If you're thinking of getting the Samsung Star, because it's a cheap touchscreen mobile phone, you might want to wait it out a little longer until Samsung releases the Samsung Corby in the Philippines. The Samsung Corby is the latest, cheap touch mobile phone from Samsung and word has it that it will be priced around 8k. That's around 2k cheaper than the Samsung Star, plus it's also colorful.

The Samsung Star is already out in the UK and it goes by the name: Samsung Genio. The Genio's price in the UK is cheaper and this mobile phone is available on Pay As You Go or what is commonly known as prepaid here in the Philippines.

Specs of the Samsung Corby include: 2.8 inch screen, FM radio, Edge, Bluetooth stereo, 2 megapixel camera with smile detection.

I prefer the Star, with 3 Mpx camera, Qwerty keyboard and very loud speaker. Now you can get it in white with wi fi here in Bangkok for 180 euros which is probably the same price as this one
