Is there still a Motorola Philippines?

When I go visit www.motorola.com.ph, the site is still alive which means they might still have operations here but how come I don't see any Motorola store anymore? Plus, there are only a few sellers stocking Motorola phones. It's really too bad, I kinda like Motorola, two of my old Motorola phones are very much still alive and kicking.

If they don't have operations in the Philippines anymore, how will I ever order the Motorola Milestone? This phone is definitely on top of my next phone to purchase list. The Motorola Milestone is also known as the Droid in the US and the phone is with the Verizon network. Of course, those who have relatives in the US and is thinking of buying it in the US---STOP! The Motorola Droid will NOT work with simcards here. Why? Because Verizon is a CDMA network (and I think their phones don't have simcards) whilst all of our wireless carriers here are GSM.

If you're planning on importing, be sure to get it in Europe because our mobile networks here and in Europe are the same so any phones purchased in Europe will work here in the Philippines, provided the phone is sim unlocked or as we fondly call here--"openline".

Hmm, I guess I could always order at eBay but the customs charges would be too expensive so I guess I better ask my sister in the UK to buy me one.
