Nokia BH-214 Review

Again, thanks to Nokia WOMWorld, I was able to review the Nokia BH-214 Stereo Bluetooth headset.

The Nokia BH-214 is not the smallest of bluetooth headsets with all the clip-on headsets available nowadays, think Sony Ericsson MW600. It's about 1.5 inches tall and 2 inches wide. It has a 3.5mm headset jack so you can use your own headphones when you don't feel like using the included headset.

The square front portion of the Nokia BH-214 acts as control buttons for your music and calls. The top allows you to accept calls, the left lets you rewind, right to forward and the bottom lets you play or pause your music.

Audio quality wise the Nokia BH-214 has pretty decent sounds. There's not so much background noise and call quality is good. Pairing the BH-214 is also REALLY easy. You don't need any codes, you just hold the power button to make it discoverable, search for it on your phone and then you're paired. It's as easy as it gets.

Battery life is okay. Lasted me more than two days but its only because I don't listen to music 24/7. Could be lesser if you're an avid music listener.

My gripes? Nokia should have used a microUSB connector as charger as it is the standard these days.

Overall, I did enjoy reviewing the Nokia BH-214. Maybe make the clip on a little bit smaller (though I think there's already a similar model which is smaller in size) it's a solid bluetooth stereo headset.
